The house features four independent apartments with living room and kitchen. All bedrooms are fully air conditioned with en-suite bathrooms. Located on the old village square, Swahili Treasures is one of the tallest buildings in Shela and offers an incredible Rooftop Terrace, simply decorated for ultimate comfort and communal privacy in the form of four seating areas. From this height, guests can enjoy undisturbed views of Shela, Lamu Town and Manda Island, the channels and far into the mainland and the archipelago.
Excluding the Penthouse, rental may be on the basis of a single bedroom with the possibility of sharing the living room and kitchen with another guest or for guests wishing privacy or with friends or family on the basis of full apartment rental.
Archipelago Penthouse Suite
The Penthouse is a fully serviced one bedroom suite on the fourth floor with a spacious master bedroom including a super king sized bed. Beautifully decorated mixing contemporary interiors with traditional styles, this apartment is designed for ultimate ease and comfort. Kizingitini Suite
This third-floor, two-bedroom suite is beautifully decorated, with a captivating blend of modern and traditional aesthetics featuring minimalistic Swahili design. It boasts extraordinary views of the archipelago, Lamu Town, Shela, the dunes, and Manda, offering a near panoramic 360-degree vista. The living room is bright and airy, and the large kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table for four. The ensuite twin room and the master bedroom are ensuite and have AC for added comfort.
Pate Suite
Pate Suite is a fully serviced two bedroom suite on the second floor with its own fully equipped kitchen and beautiful living space. It has two air conditioned bedrooms, a spacious living room, a small dining table with bar stools and a small kitchen. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed and bathroom ensuite. The second room has a double bed with bathroom ensuite.
Faza Suite
Faza Suite is a fully serviced, two bedroom suite on the first floor, with its own fully equipped kitchen and beautiful living space. It has two air conditioned bedrooms, a spacious living room, a small dining table with bar stools and a small kitchen. The Master Bedroom has a super king sized bed that can be split into twin beds and bathroom ensuite. The second room is a twin with a bathroom ensuite.
